Ismael is a bright, handsome 9-year-old boy whose smile today hides a journey that almost stole his childhood.
He once lived happily with both parents and his two sisters, Caroline and Hildah. Their father worked as a motorcycle rider, earning daily income by transporting people and goods—doing everything he could to provide for his family.
But one tragic day changed everything. While searching for his daily bread, Ismael’s father unknowingly carried a passenger transporting illegal crocodile skin. They were arrested by traffic police and taken to court. Though unaware of the crime, he was found guilty of ferrying illegal wildlife products and was sentenced to 8 years in prison.
In a single moment, Ismael’s world collapsed.
Left under the sole care of their mother, the family slipped into deep hardship. Many days they went without food. School became uncertain. Hope began to fade, and the future of these innocent children hung in the balance.
But God had not forgotten them.
Through the compassionate intervention of Prison Christian Ministry, Ismael and his sisters were rescued and brought to safety at Tabitha 3 Christian Rescue Centre in Embu, Kenya.
GOOD NEWS!!
Here, their story changed.
Today, Ismael enjoys regular nutritious meals, quality education, spiritual nurturing, and a safe home filled with love. He is currently in Grade 5, full of confidence and hope. His dream is clear — to study hard and one day become an engineer.
Most remarkably, the once quiet and withdrawn boy now walks with confidence. His self-esteem has been restored, and he will soon be proudly representing Tabitha 3 Children at a National Fashion Show — a powerful testimony of transformation.
This is not just about Ismael.
At Tabitha 3 Christian Rescue Centre, 38 vulnerable children of imprisoned parents are being given a second chance at life — children who would otherwise be lost to poverty, trauma, and hopelessness.
THANK YOU!!
We sincerely and deeply thank Prison Christian Ministry for standing with us as instruments of God’s love. Your support has turned pain into purpose and despair into destiny.
As we continue this mission, we humbly invite partners, friends, and well-wishers of PCM to walk this journey with us.
Any support—financial, educational, nutritional, or prayer—will help Ismael and the 38 children realize their God-given dreams.
Together, we can raise a generation not defined by their past, but inspired by hope.
