The Mbeere community in rural Kenya has been facing a severe health crisis for many years. Poor sanitation and lack of access to medical care made the villagers susceptible to numerous health problems. The situation was so dire that the CAMT- Kenya decided to hold a medical camp in partnership with WithMyOwn2Hands. They invited a team of health professionals to set up a medical camp in the village. The team consisted of doctors, nurses, and other health workers. The team worked tirelessly to provide medical services to the villagers. The medical camp was a huge success and the villagers were extremely grateful. The health professionals conducted physical examinations, dispensed medication and provided basic health education. They also identified and treated a number of illnesses and diseases.

The team was also instrumental in helping the villagers to improve their sanitation and hygiene. They provided instruction on proper hand-washing techniques, taught them the importance of using clean water, and encouraged the use of latrines. The medical camp was a turning point in the lives of the villagers. They were now able to access medical care and were able to take proactive steps towards improving their health and well-being. The experience was a great success and has since been replicated in many other communities across Kenya. The medical camp provided the people of Mbeere with access to quality medical care and improved their overall health and quality of life.
